Local people bathing in the River Daugava

(Click on photo to enlarge) I took the tram to the end of it's track on the north east bank of the River Daugava. There is a local opinion, that as long as you are upstream of the TV tower then it's OK to swim. I agrre - that water is pretty nice. I wouldn't do this in the River Thames in London ;-)
